If the cold nights of Puno are too much for you then don’t worry, as Bothy Puno is the perfect place to keep warm and make yourself comfy whilst striking up new friendships.
A quick warning about the taxis in the area: they may claim not to know where the hostel is in order to gain commission elsewhere. So please tell them the address and show them the map of the hostel.

The hostel has its own transfer from the bus station for 10 soles. Alternatively you can get a taxi to the hostel for 5 soles.
If you are arrving from the airport it will cost you about 40 soles.

Bothy Puno Location
Call when you arrive at the bus station and we're happy to come and pick you up. Otherwise you can catch a taxi which will cost you approximately 4 or 5 soles.
We can also pick you up from the airport (70 soles).

We would rather pick you up, as taxi drivers receive a comission for every tourist they deliver, so will often try to take you to a more expensive hotel.
